Director of IT
Roanoke Postal Employees’ FCU has an immediate opening for a full-time Director of Information Technology. Successful candidate must have an Associate’s degree or BS in Computer Science, IT or related field, web development experience, computer and networking experience, demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office applications and other PC applications, and a desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment. Financial institution experience a plus. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining operation of data and voice systems, negotiating contracts, developing and controlling system security and data loss prevention, maintaining current knowledge of technology and suggesting new equipment or operational methods, and providing support and training of all applications. This person must be highly motivated, possess a positive attitude, be team oriented and have excellent interpersonal/communication skills.
