In this section you'll find resources that not only help adults achieve more, but also help kids get a good financial start.
'Cent'sible Family Fun
Here are a few tips for fun activities that won't break the piggy bank.
- Game night - let each child pick a favorite game
- Rock Band/Guitar Hero concert or contest with friends
- Bake treats for neighbors who can't get out (shut-ins)
- Family skate or bowling nights
- Check out activities and events at your local school...sports, plays, concerts
- Volunteer as a family at a local shelter or Rescue Mission
- Make bargain shopping for gifts both a fun game and educational
- Make gifts (Christmas, Valentine's, Birthday) with the family - they're cost effective and special
- Take in a parade
- Have a snowball fight or go sledding (if and when we get some snow)
- Take in a museum...there are several close by.
- Our area is rich with history too - what are you studying in school? Go see it for yourself!
